I’m Eliza

I’m a certified Korean language teacher who helps students achieve their dream of studying, working, and living in Korea by helping them master the language and reach their desired TOPIK score. Whether you’re aiming to work in a Korean office, launch your own business, or integrate into life in Korea, I’m here to guide you.

I also teach English and Chinese, helping students master these languages for academic, professional, or personal growth.

That’s why I founded Joa Academy, where I run programs like Korean Joa and Anglo Joa, and I’m planning to expand into more languages soon. Seeing my students make breakthroughs in their language proficiency, and watching them succeed both personally and professionally, brings me immense joy. But let me tell you—it didn’t happen overnight.

Ever since I was young, I was forced to learn several languages due to my background and the places I lived. By the age of 15, I could speak multiple languages and even started tutoring young children in English. At 18, I moved to Australia for my studies, and I continued tutoring, teaching both English and Korean. Growing up as someone who had to learn many languages, I naturally developed a knack for making language learning easier for others, and I found true joy in seeing people master a new language.

As I pursued my university degrees, I also studied to become a certified teacher. However, it wasn’t until I moved to France that I officially began teaching Korean. Now, with years of experience and my educational background, I’ve had the pleasure of helping hundreds of students make their language dreams come true, guiding them to succeed in both personal and professional realms.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not teaching, I’m a huge food lover! One of my favorite things to do when I travel is to explore the local food scene and enjoy that city’s specialty. My family is my everything, so a lot of our travels are spent enjoying delicious meals and taking time to relax and unwind together. I believe in living life at a slow tempo, savoring every second of it.
